With the rapid development of information technology and the rapid advance of economic globalization, the competition among enterprises is not only the mutual competition between individuals, but the competition between on the supply chain which the core enterprise as the main body.In 1990 s, with rising of supply chain management and accept by more and more enterprises, the traditional view that supplier is only provide parts to the enterprises is changed. The concept of supply chain management pay attention to the establishment of strategic cooperative partnership, the core enterprise using advanced information network technology to build long-term relationship with the most outstanding upstream and downstream enterprises, commissioned or authorized with the upstream and downstream enterprises to complete a part of business for the product or service, and can focus on their core business which they have advantage and good at, arrive the win-win relationship among the supply chain. Supplier is in the front of supply chain, which is important part of the supply chain, how to manage supplier in order to enhance the supply chain competitive, which is very important for all the enterprise in supply chain.This paper discusses and studies the supplier management tactics of new product development under the background,introduces the theory of supplier management,and discusses the strategy cooperation partnership in the new product development.illustrates the management of its suppliers in new product development process, and it’s importance and necessity of the establishment of good cooperation relationship. Through the case study and analysis of the supplier management of new product development process of J company, such as evaluation and selection of suppliers, the classification of suppliers and supplier relationship management, the quantity of suppliers, purchasing management etc, and analyze its origin, proposed action such as supplier structure optimization, improvement of supplier selection and evaluation process, Kraljic matrix to Improve and solve these problems. In order to provide some guidance for the theory and practice of supplier management in the new product development process.
