On the basis of the purpose of comprehensive evaluation and the content of the evaluation of green residential district,we summarized the theory and methods of green residential district comprehensive evaluation.The construction of the evaluation index system is the key of the comprehensive evaluation of the green residential district, and only the system construction of the evaluation index system can guarantee the accuracy of the evaluation results. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of domestic and international green building evaluation criteria, the principle and strategy of building green residential district evaluation index system are proposed. Combined with China’s basic national conditions, from economic evaluation criterion, building environment and energy resources utilization evaluation criterion, residential environment evaluation criteria, management evaluation criteria four aspects, finally established the comprehensive evaluation index system of green residential district with a set of design stage.The comprehensive evaluation method of green residential district chosen the distance judging method based on entropy weight and gray correlation projection method, and introduces the principle and calculation steps of two models. In the case of actual cases, two kinds of evaluation models are calculated, and the stability and applicability of two models are determined by sensitivity analysis.
