In today’s market environment, by enhancing the rationality of the workshop?s layout to reduce production costs and improve production efficiency, has become one of the powerful means to enhance corporation?s core-competitiveness. In our country,the development of production logistics starts late, there are a lot of problems exist in our companies caused by irrational facility layout,such as logistics lines twists and turns、overexpansion of logistics network?s scale、inefficiency、high cost of logistics、overstocked products and so on. Therefore, we should introduce advanced theories and take effective methods and tools of production logistics to reasonably workshop?s layout, improve the company’s production logistics present situation, optimize production manufacturing process, enhancing operation efficiency.Taking DF company?s production workshop as object of study, using the concept and the method of industrial engineering for detailed analyzing of the current situation of DF company’s production process and layout, meanwhile, found many questions in that. Then put forward the company’s workshop layout demand and targets, selected SLP method and heuristic algorithm as the basic method of DF company’s workshop layout planning study.Based on analyzing the factors which affected the layout of the workshop, detailed describing the problem by mathematical symbols, formulas and graphics, a mathematical model of DF company?s layout planning was proposed, and combining extension evaluation method with evaluation factors of workshop layout, a multi-level extension evaluation model is established to evaluate workshop layout firstly.Then, a improved hybrid genetic algorithm( GASA) was put forward in this paper, according to the principles and characteristics of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm, and combining with the issue of DF company a full description of GASA was presented, including the process of the hybrid algorithm, coding scheme, operation rules, parameter Settings, etc. To computerize SLP method at the same time, through programming language to describe, in detail elaborated the logical process and function model of this improved SLP method.Again, designing the system functions, system architecture, system logic relationship of“DF company?s facility layout system”by object-oriented design method, ensure the maintainability and extensibility of the software system.Using IDEF0 diagram to illustrates overall system, the input and output relationship of each functional module, and linear flow chart shows the logic of each module.Finally, the mainly interfaces and using method of the system were introduced through one practical workshop?s layout example ——the DF company factory layout. Using SLP method and GASA hybrid algorithm of this system for two alternative layout schemes, and compares these two alternatives evaluation, verified the feasibility of the system.
