An Empirical Study On Management And Control Abilities Of Group And Its Influential Factors

Enterprise group is a kind of advanced organization form of modern enterprise. With the deepening of our economic system reform and the highly development of economy between enterprises, the dominant position of enterprise groups in our country national economy is increasing. As group is a core part of enterprise group, its success or failure is directly related to the rise and fall of the enterprise group. But these enterprises often have many hierarchies, large scales.It is prone to "big company disease"in operation process, such as low internal communication efficiency and resource utilization, and thus difficult to break through the restrictions on the size to obtain sustainable and rapid development. In order to achieve strategic targets, allocate resource effectively, operate orderly and effectively, occupy a favorable position in fierce competitions, solve all kinds of problems occurred in operation, group must has strong management and control abilities.Based on the mode of management and control theory, management theory, enterprise ability theory, this thesis discussed the basic structure of group, the relationship between these structural dimensions, influential factors, the relationship and measurement system between management and control abilities, the management and control performance and influential factors, in order to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance to enhance the management and control abilities of group by literature research, survey research, case studies and other research methods.The main contents are as follows:(1) About the study of management and control,domestic and foreign scholars still remain in the study of the factors and effects of management and control mode,the research on management and control abilities is blank. Based on related theories, domestic and foreign research results, we defined the concepts of management and control abilities, unified influential factors, management and control performance and management and control abilities in a research framework to study their relationships comprehensively and systematically.At last, we constructed a theoretical framework of management and control abilities in this thesis.(2) Though the study of basic theories of management and control abilities, we adopt technical route in three stages to construct structure model of management and control abilities of group:the first stage is to extract management and control factors through literature retrieval and statistical analysis. The second stage is to investigate by questionnaire and analysis data. The third stage is to analyze results to confirm the structural dimensions of management and control abilities of group.Finally, we constructed the structure model of management and control abilities of group.(3) The forming and effects of management and control abilities of group are affected by exogenous variables (environment) and endogenous factors. Though turning the abstract and not measurable management and control abilities into a specific and analysable system, we constructed a measurement system of management and control abilities. We verified the theoretical model of management and control abilities of group through empirical study.The empirical methods we used include hypothesis, questionnaire design, variable measurement and data analysis.(4) Based on the theoretical model of management and control abilities of group we constructed, we conducted a empirical research on the management and control abilities of Sinopec Shengli Oil Field Dynamic Group CO.,LTD. In order to enhance their management and control abilities, we put forward some reasonable suggestions.
