The Empirical Analysis Of Migrant Workers’ Willingness To Social Insurance And The Factors Which Affect Their Willingness During The Process Of Citizenship

As the country’s largest labor group, how to achieve migrant workers’ citizenship is necessary to accelerate the realization of China’s urbanization. Since 2010, China had written it in the central document that to speed up the settlement in urban of the agricultural transfer of population and encourage migrant workers’ citizenization. The third Plenary Session of the seventeen of the Party stressed it that we should increase the coverage of migrant workers’ pension insurance, medical insurance, work injury insurance and further improve the pension system of migrant workers. The eighteenth CPC National Congress reiterated to comprehensive social security system which covers urban and rural residents again. However, the current social insurance policies for migrant workers can’t really realize the need for social insurance for migrant workers, the factors causing low willingness to participate in social insurance of migrant workers greatly exist,many social insurance mode in the process of operation also appeared a lot of problems. To study on the migrant workers’ willingness to participate in social insurance and its influence factors in Jiangxi Province, we can achieve urban and rural social insurance distance difference narrowed, ease the contradiction between urban and rural areas, and promote the citizenization of migrant workers, improve the level of urbanization.Based on the above objectives, the main contents of this paper present the analysis of migrant workers insured status, willingness and the selection of different types and its influencing factors.The data of this paper comes from the Universities’ key project of Jiangxi province named study on migrant workers’ citizenization, after the analysis of descriptive statistics and cross description, useing two binary regression and multivariate regression models, and starts the empirical model analysis, getting the following results:age, education level, skills, the wage level, the location of economic level, leaving the city and willing to work are significant correlation with migrant workers’ social insurance willingness; Gender, health, education, wages and other factors affecting the intensity of migrant workers in the pension, unemployment, maternity, employment injury insurance insured four wishes. After that, the article on the existing domestic migrant workers comparative analysis of social insurance model, combined with empirical analysis conclusion, proposed to increase the rate of migrant workers insured recommendations.
