Reseatch On The Impact Of Factors Of Migrant Workers To Participate In Social Pension Insurance

Since China’s reform and opening up, more and more migrant workers into cities to work and formed a huge group of migrant workers. They contribute to the urban social and economic development.at the same time, the social security rights and interests are not well maintained. As related to the immediate interests of migrant workers groups of social pension insurance, for the migrant workers aged out the labour market and old life has important practical significance. This study used the literature research and the empirical research methods to analyze and research the present situation and the influence factors of migrant workers who make different choice for social pension insurance. First of all, based on the current research of shortages and limitations to define the research’s focus, direction and framework. Then combined with the actual investigation and study, used the survey data to describe the different characteristics and the distribution of migrant workers who make different choice for social pension insurance. the study compares and analyzes the differences of migrant workers who make different choice for social pension insurance in the individual characteristics, economic characteristics, social characteristics and psychological characteristics. From this four aspects to identify the specific factors that affect migrant workers who make different choice for social pension insurance. The results showed:migrant workers choose the social pension insurance behavior is a kind of limited rational choice; On the basis of comprehensive consideration of human capital, economic status, social capital and future development plan, migrant workers will assess their own interests and action value and make the rational choice of different social pension insurance, income levels, housing condition, the situation to sign labor contract, future residence willingness and the degree of identity has different influence on whether to participate in social pension insurance and making different choice for social pension insurance. Finally, according to the influencing factors, puts forward the operational suggestions and countermeasures, so as to improve the rate of migrant workers to participate in social pension insurance and protect the rights and interests of migrant workers.
