The Chinese family enterprises has been developing for thirty or forty years, i t is now in the stage which is rapid developing. As time goes by, the Chinese fa mily enterprises has facing the first peak of inter generational transmission, for a handover ceremony. Most family enterprises is obviously insufficient of knowledge and preparation, so inheritance has turned into an enormous challenge in the proc ess of smooth growth of family firms. In recent years, the research on the family enterprises is becoming increasingly abundant, but compared to the reality situation of the family-owned business, the theory studying is still far behind the actuality.For the study on the succession model of family business, although there are num bles of the foreign empirical academic, the development course, characteristic of C hinese family business can not be applied mechanically the theory because of its o wn characteristic by the development course,deep cultural settings and differences i n national conditions.In this paper, it provides instruction for the Chinese family enterprises’ inheri tance through the analysis the characteristics of four typical areas and China’s fami ly business succession.Basing on the existing situation of the family enterprises in China, we proposed Chinese family enterprises’ three-powers-balance inheritance model,which is constituted by various transfer with the ownership, management and monitoring, contains seven different inheritance model.Based on the research by s electing the listed family corporation data which has already occurred transmission in China, we try to find a model that the most suitable for the development of Ch inese family firms in current situation. Therefore, this paper uses empirical research methods respectively from the three dimensions of power, using EVA as the meas ure to analysis the family business’ s after-inheritance value.Then through the three right most favor a combination enterprise value to determine which model is the most suitable one for the national family enterprise inheritance.This paper draws the following conclusion: family ownership and corporate val ue is positively related to family business succession, family management and famil y control is not conducive to the increase of enterprise value, so at present the mo st conducive to the after-inheritance enterprises’ value of family enterprises in China is mode seven(family ownership, family managers occupation,but the board of directors is not controlled by the family).At last, this paper based on three aspects of ownership, management, supervi sion of China’s current inheritance and puts forward to some suggestions for the d evelopment of the family enterprises. In succession, maintaining equity dispersion i n order to break through the bottleneck of "talent" and " funds”;take notice of the long period performance; strengthen the administrative structure of board of direct ors and raise the efficiency of independent directors.
