Research On The Development Of Electronic Information Industrial Clusters In Ji’an

The industrial cluster is a advanced mode of economic development, a product of globalized competition and the best choice after comprehensive considering the internal and external transaction costs of enterprise. It has been prevailing in the society of industrialization and informationization, because that the market competition is about the whole industry value chain or industrial cluster. The enterprises in cluster share the advantages of external scale, low production cost, innovated exchange platform and regional brand effect, through the professional production-collaboration network and flexible specialized mode of production, to expand and development continuously. The effect of industrial cluster is profound, especially for the small and medium-sized enterprises to compete with stronger rival.Based on the foundation of theoretical research about industrial clusters and the actual situation of electronic information industry in Ji’an, this work analyzed the characteristics of the industrial structure and the competitive situation of each sub industry of electronic information industry by using the shift-share method. We built a GEM model to analyze the competitiveness of electronic information clusters in Ji’an more quantitatively, through setting up the index system and using graded approach of expert and enterprise questionnaire and analytic hierarchy process. Then evaluating the results of the GEM model objectively combined with our field investigation, as well as analyzing the problems arisen in the development process. Moreover, according to the analyzed results, we concluded the development path of the sub industries and put forward a more practical and feasible suggestions for the sustainable development of industrial cluster by referring the successful experience in development of electronic information industry clusters in developed areas.As the result showed, Ji’an electronic information industry cluster competition were in medium level of the country, with problems of defective infrastructure, insufficient innovation ability in enterprises, absence of related enterprise, feeble cooperation consciousness and lack of high-tech talent. It was suggested that the governmental departments should accurately ascertain its orientation in the service role in the development of industrial cluster, strengthen the construction of infrastructure, build information platform of finance and communication inside industries. As for enterprises, they should be openly innovative and pay attention to personnel training. All these efforts should be taken jointly to enhance the regional competitiveness of Ji’an and promote the development in industry cluster of electronic information industry to senior patterns.
