As an important way to evaluate employee performance,performance appraisal is an important part of corporate human resourcesmanagement. In this thesis, we choose SN Machinery Group as the researchtarget. Firstly, we reviewed the performance and performance managementtheory. On the basis of the description of SN Machinery Group performancemanagement status quo, we pointed out the problems in performancemanagement. To solve these problems, some improvement concepts and ideasare put forward, and from three aspects of performance appraisal object, contentand results are given corresponding improvement program, and proposed a newperformance management system. Finally, the conclusions of this study aresummarized, and pointed out the limitations of existing research, and providedirection for subsequent deeper research. This study contributes to SNMachinery Group to improve the company’s performance appraisal system, toprotect the overall strategic goals; helps to continuously improve theperformance of individual employees, the organization’s overall performance,and promote the company healthy and sustainable development; conducive tothe rational use of the company’s human resources, correct implementation ofhuman resources management strategy; conducive to timely detection andcorrective in strategy formulation, implementation process; conducive topersonal growth and development.
