The SE-DEA Evaluation On The Operating Efficiency Under The Model Of Asset-light Strategy

As a basic and strategic industry of our country, electronicinformation industry has been an core part of and has played a vital role in thedevelopment of national economy. After decades of rapid development,theproblem of electronic information industry is that the scale is visiblyuneconomic, operation efficiency is low,and we found that the reason is theunreasonable operation model,resulting in low profit in output. In the era ofweak situation and slow growth in the industry of electronic information, thispaper studies the management efficiency in this field in the model ofasset-light operation, having a great significance to many factors, includingcoordinating the proportion of input, increasing its output,pursuing the bestscale of the industry and improving the performance.Guided by the principles of sustainable development theory, theprincipal-agent theory, the theory of efficiency, the theory of economy on alarge scale,this paper summarizes relevant studies and references onasset-light and operation efficiency, and puts forward operation efficiencytheory in the model of asset-light through standard analysis, and then selects34listed electronic information enterprises as samples, and establishes alinear programming model in order to makes an empirical study of operation efficiency in the field of electronic information in China.In the process ofempirical study, this paper uses the method of quantitative analysis,includingcorrelation analysis, sensitivity analysis,factor analysis,input-output analysis,and then verifies the prediction theory.The theory is that asset-light ispositively related to operation efficiency and the Significantly influencefactors to asset-light is long financing, fixed assets-net value,payment inadvance, debit balance in suppliers’account,accrued expenses.The empirical study of this paper reveals that the asset-light andoperation efficiency of listed electronic information enterprises are positivelycorrelated,that is to say the lighter of the asset,the higher of its operationefficiency. The further analysis finds that there are many decisive factorsaffecting the operation efficiency of listed electronic information enterprises,covering long-term financing,fixed assets-net value,payment in advance, debitbalance in suppliers’ account.Making a performance evaluation of listedelectronic information enterprises through super-efficiency DEA model andDEA model,and the former model has an advantage over the latter. This paperanalysis effective decision-making units through super-efficiency DEA Model,and comes an conclusion that the main reason of the low operation efficiencyin listed electronic information enterprises is the shortage of validity inlarge-scale operation, uneconomic industry scale remains lackluster andaffects the operation efficiency of electronic information industry.In the last,the paper makes several suggestions as follows according to its empirical study of efficiency evaluation in electronic information industry:optimizing the enterprises’ financing structure effectively, pursuing areasonable long-term financing proportion to decrease its financing risks to arecord low; having a regular check on fixed asset to eliminate the old andobsolete ones to improve the liquidity of capitals; scaling down the proportionof payment in advance and debit balance in suppliers’ account moderately toensure adequate cash flow;expanding the industrial scale and improving theinput proportion to enhance the corporation’ s core competitiveness on allround; enhancing the awareness of research and development and thecapability of self-innovation to change the poor operation situation radically;integrating the industrial chain and make industrial adjustment in structure toincrease corporation’s operation efficiency.
