Along with the rapid development of society, manufacturing enterprise production pattern has been changed,use the production line for mass production was the most appropriate option for the vast majority of enterprises. How to improve the balance of the assembly line in the production line mode is a crucial factor in enhancing the capacity, efficiency and the competitiveness in the industry. Production line of optimization is an important method for the designing and reorganization of production proeesses for the manufacturing enterprises. It brings the whole production line for segmentation, redraw the procedures and workstations, simplify the production process under the condition of the given constraints, at the same time improve the operating speed for each station, reducing the loss of working hours.A Magnesium Oxychloride plate production enterprises in Heilongjiang province as an example in this paper.At first, the paper detailed analyses the status and the specific arrangement of the production line by the method of "5M1E",and find out the main problems of production line from the human, machine, material, rule, measuring, environment six aspects.Secondly, using a variety of production line of optimization theory and methods, combining with the actual production status of the existing production line, put forward the method to reasonability determine the normal operating time for the work unit according to the analysis of operation process, the research for the operating method and the division of the work unit.Once again, calculating the standard working hours of each work unit through using stopwatch method to measure the working time of each work unit and position lays a good foundation for subsequent research on the optimization of production line. Then, the 86 operating units of the magnesium oxychloride plate production line are redistributed by using "Ranked Positional Weights" method of heuristic algorithm and detailed calculation and analysis. Finally, some plans and solutions are put forward to optimize the production line, and evaluate it with mathematical function model.Meanwhile, the production efficiency of the optimized production line is tested and the result shows that the optimized scheme are more ideal.And the production line balance rate is improved 28.7% than before, Smoothness index is reduced by 37.56, Production line production status markedly improved.The study and research can provides a useful reference of the composite use in production.
