Coupling Relationship Between Construction Land Use And Economic Development In Henan Province

Henan province is now under the rapid development of social economy. Meanwhile, it is a hard task in ensuring the national food safety and upholding the protection of farmland red line. Facing with the huge contradiction between demand and supply of land resources, land resource bottleneck restricting economic growth steady is particularly prominent. How to deal with the economy healthy and stable development and rational land use and efficient coordination between the coupling and sustainable relationship have become the focus of Henan that need to be solved.Based on the coupled coordination theory, land supply and demand equilibrium theory and sustainable land development theory, this paper carries out the calculating analysis combing theory and demonstration, qualitative and quantitative by taking entire Henan province and 18 cities as example. It first analyzes the extension and economic development change of construction land of Henan province, calculates the relationship between the construction land and economy development, mainly correlativity, analysis of construction land contribution to economy and the drive mechanics of the social economy factor for construction land extension. The last part, also the most important part, analyzes and evaluates the coupled coordination between construction land and economic development and the space correlativity as well as concludes as follows:(1)From 2002 to 2012, Henan kept high speed increase in economic development. The growth speed surpasses the national level but still has large gap in the comprehensive development. The degree of construction land extension increases gradually. From the aspect of construction land extension type of 18 cities, weak extension growth cities increase from 6 to 10, mainly the north and west cities which takes Zhengzhou as center. In the central city of Zhengzhou drive, the rapid economic development led to a corresponding expansion of construction land changes, construction land expansion intensity approximately presents a spatial pattern of "high in the northwest, southeast low.(2)From the relationship between construction land use and economic development, the investment in construction land of each region of Henan province for the economic development contribution is among the 15% to 30%, which is lower than the fixed investment. But along the time passing, its contribution degree will increase gradually. Meanwhile, economic development level does not keep pace with the construction land contribution rate. The construction land extension has high correlativity with social economic development factor. According to the quantitative analysis of drive factor, the constant increase of population, the acceleration of urbanization process, the improvement of rural per capita income and the rapid development of traffic conditions are the important drive factor for Henan construction land extension.(3)The intensive use of construction land and economic development reaching synchronous development is the optimum state of system. Due to different economic base and land resources, different city has significant difference in construction land extension change, economic development level and coupling coordination degree. From the comprehensive development level of the two subsystems, besides Zhengzhou in higher comprehensive development level, small portion of cities lie above the average level and more than half cities lie below the average level. From the comprehensive level of construction land use and economic development, more than half cities keep pace with the two subsystems. From the coupling coordination relationship, Zhengzhou has gradually transit into initial coordination, besides Zhumadian and Xinyang who are still in recession zone. Most of the cities are transited into harmonic interval from the recession zone. The coupling coordination degrees of 10 cities are in lower level in 2006, 2010 and 2012. In addition, this paper also analyzes the intensive effect of intensive use comprehensive development level, economic development level and coupling coordination development level. The result shows that 18 cities have positive autocorrelation in geographic space development, most of the cities are in high intensive area and low intensive area and intensive effects and reliable effects are prominent.
