Study On Warehousing Distribution Management Of QSY Company

QSY Company is the largest base for diesel locomotive research, development, manufacturing and maintenance in China. In addition to domestic market, the company exports a variety of new type locomotives to more than 20 countries and regions of the world. In recent years, the company is transforming gradually to the fields of developing electric locomotives and city rail vehicles. Currently, the company is extremely unbalanced in locomotive production, which is characterized by its small batch and rich varieties. With more and more supply of locomotive parts for exporting, the company is facing with a situation which demands higher requirements on warehousing distribution. Therefore, it is of urgent necessity to establish and perfect the warehousing distribution management system, thus promote lean warehousing distribution.This paper takes warehousing distribution of QSY Company as the research object, and elaborates the current situation and the business process of warehousing distribution in detail. It is found that there are two aspects of problems in warehousing distribution, i.e., the lag of its information level and the block in its process of lean management. By analyzing the problems using the method of logistics information, logistics lean, Warehousing Distribution and other related theory of QSY, we find that the main reason to the first problem lies in the insufficient development and application of the software system, and that to the second problem lies in the poor software and hardware infrastructure, the unbalanced production and the hardship to change the systems and concepts, which lay a foundation for the effective countermeasures afterwards.After studying and analyzing the problems and causes of QSY Company warehousing distribution, the use of lean thinking,the author puts forward that we combine the establishment of ERP system and bar code information management system, promote the combination of the lean construction and strengthen the full security. Lean management in QSY Company warehousing distribution is also proposed to promote the optimization of the ideas and the measures, so as to improve the enterprise competitiveness edge, explore a lean way in warehousing that meets the requirements of QSY Company, and meanwhile play a role in providing similar enterprises with reference and help.
