With the development of information networks and electronic technology, in order to improve the safety of the occupants, electronic equipments are widely used in body control, entertainment systems, security information and other fields.In order to expand the market, many multinational automotive electronic components company established R & D centers in Shanghai and other places, enlarged the research and development of automotive electronics product,, and shorten automotive electronics module development cycle, to improve the company’s competition. This requires automotive electronics company establish core members of the stable technical development team、extensive expertise and abundant professional technology. Also need a scientific set of engineers’ core competencies of systems, to evaluate their performance and identify their core competencies. This system not only helps to improve engineer’s working enthusiasm, but also helps to improve the engineer’s ability.Researching YFVE electronics engineers’ core competencies, first study the core management competences, professional technology competence and their elements, and set the index of their elements、its metrics and weight;next, use AHP to evaluate their professional technical competence; finally integrate core management competence and professional technical competence to build the competence matrix table. In order to ensure the fairness of the evaluation, the two evaluation criterias are established core management and professional technical competence each other, both are combined the elaluation of the collection. In order to make the results of the assessment are more intuitive, introduces the concept of deviation degree. By this deviation to determine annual performance of electronics engineer, also it is suitable to judge the engineer’s level, by this method electronic engineers can get the appropriate engineers’level, can also be found at his own shortcomings and strengths point. Applying the research methods of this paper, could minimize the impact of the manager’s subjective assessment, this relative objective fair evaluation system not only improve electronic engineer’s working enthusism and enhance their loyalty to the company, responsible attitude toward the business, improve customer satisfaction; inspire the sense of cooperation team. Meanwhile enough play electronic engineer’s technical expertise, improve the knowledge and ability of platform and product development, inspire electronics engineer’s technological innovation consciousness, and thus enhance the comprehensive ability of electronic engineers, thus ensure the company’s competitiveness and influence.
