Research On The Formation Mechanism Of The Risk Of Network Organization

Network organization has the advantages of producing positive cooperative effectand reducing the risk of the single enterprise, but because of its own characteristics, italso has the corresponding risk, for example, the members of network organization maytake opportunistic behavior, changes in the external environment will lead the needs ofthe market to can not be met etc… In order to avoid these risks, this paper will analyzesthe sources and the formation mechanism of the risks from the perspective of system.Firstly, through reviewing the literature, this paper defines the concept of networkorganization and its risk; and then this paper analyzes qualitatively the risk source andthe formation mechanism of network organization risk, and through the empiricalresearch, the formation mechanism of risk was verified; Finally, according to theempirical results, this paper put forward corresponding measures to avoid risks,provided certain foundation for the research of the risk of network organization.Research shows that the risk source of network organization includes mechanism、structure、environment、performance、cost、boundary and goal, these risk source willevolve into risk in certain condition, moreover, the maximum probability of evolve intorisk were cost、mechanism、environment. The influence of interest distribution andcooperation culture was the biggest for the risk of mechanism, the changes of policy hasthe biggest influence on the environment risk, for the performance risk, the ability oflearning has the biggest influence, unexpected situation occurs will lead to a rise in costrisk, the influence of expected to be sharing profit was biggest for the goal risk.Although the formation mechanism of structure risk and boundary risk has not beenverified, but through analyzing the previous research results, this paper holds that theinfluence of ability is biggest for boundary risk, three indexes of structure showed Utype relationship with the structure risk.Network organization while generating competitive advantage will produce thecorresponding risk, this paper provides a new perspective to study source and formationmechanism of risk of network organization, and also provides certain research foundation to identify and avoid the risk of network organization, and has certainguiding significance for improving the operation environment of network organization.
