Since30years of the reform, the economy of China has achieved rapid progresswhich amazed the whole world, the GDP of China now has been ranked second in theworld, the status of international economy and politics continues to improve, theprocess of industrialization and urbanization continue to promote. China has achievedthe title "world factory".Automobile industry is very important in China’s economy and the developmentis extraordinarily rapid. The sum of production and sales in automobile industry willbe more than20Mio. in2014. There is fierce competition in automobile market.Price, quality, sales, customer service, marketing are important, but the mostimportant thing is benefit.FAW-Volkswagen China’s automobile industry leader, his ability of profit,system and management is outstanding in China’s car enterprises. As ajoint-venture,FAW-Volkswagen has been in the pursuit of a stronger marketcompetitiveness. For this point, the company has been to improve productionefficiency, reduce waste and so on. The2020strategy let the entire company has aclear direction. The implementation of modern management system is an importantguarantee to the2020strategic. The ERP system as one of the modern managementmethods is important. ERP system, Enterprise Resource Planning, use computertechnology and network technology to control material, capital, information whichare integrated managed, so as to improve the efficiency of management, enhancecompetitiveness, improve enterprise efficiency.As the company continues to expand, there will be six plants, producing2Mio.cars per year. So the improving and reengineering of organization and process isimperative. Business process reengineering use advanced information technology and modern management technique to break the intelligent organization structure and thestructure of enterprise management, so as to realize the rapid improvement in cost,quality, service etc.Stamping as the first step of the four processes in automobile manufacturing, aswell as the most important process, currently let not introduced it system. At the sametime, the organization structure has not combed according to process. Based on this,carrying on process reengineering for production process in stamping based on ERPhave become one of the company’s inevitable choices.This paper tries to introduce the ERP system to Pressshop in FAW-VW and solvethe problems they have like follows: realizing the problem, the decomposition of theproblem, analysis problem, find the real cause, process reengineering and securitymeasures for BPR.First of all, this paper has carried on the elaboration to the ERP and the relatedtheory of business process reengineering; secondly, expounds the present situation ofFAW-Volkswagen stamping production and the existing problems,also the existingprocess is introduced; then analyzing the problems existing in production process:coil cutting, parts stamping and parts management, finding out the reasons of theproblems and solving methods; thirdly, by introducing the ERP system and using theBPR methods,the production processes has been simplified and integrated. It canimprove the production efficiency, the process execution efficiency, increasecompany efficiency; finally, in culture, organization, and other aspects of the systemprovides security measures on the achievements of the stamping production processreengineering.This paper is helpful to strengthen the stamping production operating efficiencyand efficiency of decision-making, and ultimately improve the management andprofit ability. It also provides some reference thinking of stamping productionmanagement for other automobile production enterprise.
