Business Process Reengineering Of Ningxiang Cement Plant

The need for cement is increasing vigorously in 21st century along with the more and more construction projects come into practice. In the same time, the mode of the need has been changed very much as well. Consumers need more and more differentiated products. The increasing need has caused the increase of production and attracted more and more competitors to join in the industry. Cement plants is tray in different ways to reduce their cost, minimize their stock, introduce new technologies to remain their competitive advantage. Among these ways, business process reengineering (BPR) the most often used one. Ningxiang Cement Plant is also going to action in BPR.This paper reviewed the literature of BPR, analyzed the current process, and followed the standard BPR procedures. The main problems of their current processes are investigated and new processes are constructed according to the vision, milestone and customers' requirements. Some suggestions are put forward to commit the BPR. It is concluded that the new woven plates production process will offer much of profit for Ningxiang Cement Plant.Ningxiang Cement Factory made operation process reforger in some pilot areas first and then spread it to the whole factory gradually. Ninxiang Cement Factory got rid of all the old accumulated disadvantages and considerably improved the factory' s running efficiency, the quality of its products and service, economic return and its customers' satisfactionIn the medium- and small-sized enterprises like Ningxing Cement Factory, putting operation process reforger into pratice is necessary for them to obtain spanly development, to add energy, to increase economic and social return and to fulfill their strategic goals. The author hopes that the research in these areas in this paper can make some contributions for the medium- and small-sized enterprises in terms of practising operation process reforger.
