Open-pit mine production scheduling is based on: mine production schedule,production organization and implementation schedule, check the executions processes,and analyze problems found in inspections and handle them in time. Modern miningproduction enterprise management is facing many difficulties, such as: complexproduction processes, collaborations between different departments, strong need forproduction continuity, managing the fast-changing situations. A partial failure, or acertain measure was not timely implemented, the effect tends to spread to theoperation of the entire production system. Therefore, production scheduling as thekey element in managing mining enterprises, as well as other elements such asstrengthen the production scheduling of lean management, detailed production planaccording to overall situation, strictly controlled production processes, analyzevarious factors that affect the production, contingent measures to different situation,and timely adjusted management deviation, can effectively improve the level ofmanagement of mine enterprises.There are four problems in the production scheduling management in the wholeworking process of Taigang Jianshan Iron Mine:1) production planning is not strict;2)work implementation and process control are not well managed;3) Informationsharing and communication is inefficient,4) criteria for supervision and inspection tocompare against are not clearly listed. According to the theory of system management,it can be known that the main reasons for these problems are: do not have a unifiedmanagement mechanism, organizational structure is not reasonable, the system is not perfect, software and hardware technology support is not in place in Taigang JianshanIron Mine production scheduling system. Although there are some aspects have beenimproved, the improvement did not lead to an upgrade of the whole managementlevel of Taigang Jianshan Iron Mine, i.e. scheduling management as the key elementis not well managed.This article is aiming to solve the problems existed in the schedulingmanagement in Taigang Jianshan Iron Mine. In accordance with the principles ofunified management, control the information, modernized working method, and leanthe team, optimized management methods have been raised to solve the problems inthree ways: set up organizational principles, organization structure construction, andworking procedures, and systematically improve in responsibility delegation system,production organization system, reporting system, and examination and evaluationsystem. Detailed adjustment in the inner organization structure, segregation of duties,and human resource management, and applying PDCA cycle theory in understandingprocess scheduling management enable the scheduling management to improvesuccessively in a cycling way. With the optimized methods mentioned above, Ibelieve with strict management standards, the scheduling system in Jianshan IronMine could be leaner, more centralized, and be managed in a scientific way.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimized plan for thescheduling of Jianshan iron mine, in this paper put forward a series of securitysolution from many aspects: the human resources, supervision mechanism,performance evaluation and assessment of competition. With the theories of humanresource management and operations management support, as well as the wellplanning, it is expected that the implementation of the optimization scheme inJianshan iron mine will achieve the desired effect.Production scheduling department is the core department of the miningenterprises. Its management level directly affects the enterprise production and operation efficiency and determines the enterprise’s overall management level. Inaccordance with the process of the optimization of Jianshan iron mine productionscheduling management, it can be found that scientific and high level of schedulingmanagement need to have well-rounded management system, organizational structureand working methods. For the problems in the process of scheduling management,they can be tackled through a unified organizational structure, in accordance with thesystem, use the advanced management means to systematically analyze, and putforward scientific optimized solution.
