In recent years, self-service card products become the new favorites in the insurance industry. The product standardization is the key point of enterprise information construction. For the vast majority of small to medium-sized insurance companies in the industry, either the independent development or the outsourcing projects are facing more serious problems in quality. It has become a key research issue for how to use a more economic and effective way to identify the defect of the product so as to achieve the goal of improving project quality in the information construction of small and medium-sized insurance companies.This thesis mainly completed the following work:1. Research on the historical developmental process of quality management both at home and abroad. To understand and study the eight principles of quality management, total quality management (TQA), ISO9001, CMM/CMMI and other modern quality management theory and the quality management of international standard.2. The background, business requirements and the system of the self-service card project are introduced, and the quality of the self-service card project in phase ii is evaluated.3. In view of the self-service card project in phase ii, the main problem—"too many system defects" is studied. This thesis proposes that implementing peer review on the stage of software engineering requirement, design and coding, so as to promote the ability of defect recognition and reduce the number of defects and then improve the quality of the project.4. In the self-service card project of phase iii, implementing peer review on the stages of requirements, design and coding. And then quantify the peer review process management, so as to ensure the effectiveness of the peer review method.5. The method of quality management that proposed in this thesis is evaluated, and the effectiveness of the method is fully proved.Through research, this thesis put forward the method of peer review on the stages of requirements, design and coding, so as to improve the ability of defect recognition, thus improve the quality of project; this thesis also proposed to quantify the peer review process management, to ensure the stability of the peer review process. The method proposed in the thesis is economic and effective for small and medium-sized insurance companies to improve project quality, and it can be a positive reference for them.
