In recent years, the economic power is continually increased for China. The aerospace industry, representing the national comprehensive capability and power, encounters a rare opportunity for its development because of the increase of the government investment in the field of military aerospace. Here, H enterprise is used as an example. The production scale is increased due to the increase of investment. The production output is increased gradually from tens of millions RMB in the last century to hundreds of millions RMB in recent years. The product serials are increased from one or two in the initial stage to more than fifty in the current stage. The traditional management is unable to meet the requirement of production output because of the increase of production scale, production value, product complexity and the increasingly demanding of customers. The production efficiency is greatly restricted. For the purpose of breaking the shackles and improving production efficiency, it is urgently required for H enterprise to improve its management capability. Key business process should be reengineered in order to improve the efficiency of product output.This thesis is based on the background of H enterprise, which has properties of various products and small batch production mode. The materials management level is improved through investigating, analyzing, reengineering the warehousing and logistics business process, which are the core business process. First, we introduces the background and significance of the research. We also describes the research contents and research routes. Secondly, we collect and aggregate the problems encountering in the warehousing and logistics business process of H enterprise using the methods of expert interviews and questionnaires. These problems are diagnosed using the method of fishbone diagram and the reason is revealed for restricting the warehousing and logistics business process of H enterprise. Thirdly, we optimize and reengineer the warehousing and logistics business process of H enterprise using the business process reengineering theory in combination with the practical status of H enterprise. Fourthly, we evaluate the comprehensive performance of the warehousing and logistics business process system of H enterprise after reengineering through the correlation matrix method and the analysis of the costs of the various departments and resource consumption before and after reengineering. This thesis realizes the process reengineering through analyzing and studying the warehousing and logistics business process of H enterprise. The research is a universal reference for the enterprise which has the properties of military production background, small batch production mode and high product quality.The reengineering of the warehousing and logistics business process of H enterprise can eliminate barriers among departments, shorten the invalid waiting time of goods circulation, reduce the increase of additional costs, decrease the loss of quality, provide services for the production line timely, and improve product manufacturing efficiency. Ultimately, it can improve the transporting efficiency of materials after the materials arrived the enterprise and provide value-added services for production.
