Study On The Evaluation And Temporal Differences Of Tourism Competitiveness In Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone

As an important part of Shandong Province of the four regional blocks——"oneblue and one yellow circle in the vicinity", Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zoneplays an important role in Economic development of Shandong. On January4,2011,the State Council approved the "The development planning of Shandong PeninsulaBlue Economic Zone", becoming the first approved national development strategies of"the12th Five-Year Plan",but also the first marine-themed area economic developmentstrategy in China. In recent years, cities of the Shandong Peninsula Blue EconomicZone have developed greatly, and their infrastructures have also gradually improved.With the excellent location and quality of tourism resources, total tourism revenue inthe region continued to grow rapidly, tourism is becoming one of the important enginesto drive the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone take-off in economicdevelopment.At present, the domestic research on tourism competitiveness despite a late start,but it has made considerable progress in theory and methodology, But there are stillsome shortcomings:in terms of research object, most research is carried on thecomparative analysis of regional monomer city tourism competitiveness, but thenumber of studies on the inter-regional competitiveness of the tourism industry; whilethe inter-regional tourism competitiveness few studies comparative analys is muchsmaller; in terms of research method, the mainly research methods are qualitative, orAHP, factor analysis and system dynamics methods in researchs of recent years, butthe use of combined entropy and difference analysis methods in-depth analysis ofregional tourism competitiveness and variance analysis is still rare; in terms of thestudy period, domestic researchs on tourism competitiveness primarily is based onpanel data, the number of study of tourism competitiveness in panel data is small,especially on the prefecture level city, due to the less data limitations.This paper is based on the concepts and theories of tourismcompetitiveness.Through the analysis of tourism status and influencing factors of theShandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone, the tourism competitiveness index systemis constructed.Through the use of entropy, range, standard deviation, Pole ratio,coefficient of variation method, the Gini coefficient, the first degree, the Herfindahl coefficient, the center of gravity model and spatial imagery analysis, according to thespatial and temporal analysis of the overall path, Quantitative evaluation and Analysison Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone Tourism Competitiveness anddifferentiation from2003to2012is done.The results show that Qingdao TourismCompetitiveness is the highest level, followed by Yantai, Weihai, Dongying City,Rizhao City, Weifang City and Binzhou City in the Shandong Peninsula BlueEconomic Zone Tourism Competitiveness time analysis.In the space of the ShandongPeninsula Blue Economic Zone tourism competitiveness, tourism competitiveness ofthe eastern three cities are the strongest, Binzhou city and Dongying City of thewestern region are the weakest in the area. In terms of differences, the ShandongPeninsula Blue Economic Zone competitiveness difference in overall and scoredifference become smaller.Finally, combing the results and current situationthe, fromsix aspects——the tourism resources, regional cooperation, improve travel cost, tourist,future development orientation, big data era and visitors feedback, six strategies toenhance the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone of tourism competitiveness areproposed.
