With economy development and rapid growth in our country, improvement of people’s living standard, people’s awareness of insurance has been strengthened, and the demand of its own security has become stronger and stronger, which provides broad market prospects for life insurance in our Country.To establish the development strategy of Life Insurance Company is a process which is global, long-term, and systematic. At present, China’s insurance market is comprehensive and opening, with the market main body increasing quickly, and competition is becoming intense with each passing day. Every life insurance company is seeking the breach of the market in an active way so as to adapt to the enterprise’s marketing environment which is changing all the time, and enhance the enterprise’s marketing ability. Life insurance market in China is always active and with sufficient life insurance products to supply, the competition is unprecedentedly fierce. Therefore, it is very necessary for the life insurance company to design its development strategy suitable for market environment and its own conditions of development.This article is going to do research on the establishment and implementation of development strategy of Shenyang Life Insurance Company, combining the relevant theories of strategic management, and analyze the company’s development and environment both inside and outside. Using SWOT to do overall study on the company’s advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats, it will formulate the development strategy of the company and put forward the corresponding safeguard measures.
