A Study On The Implementation Of The5S On Production Scenes In China’s Natural Resource-based State-owned Enterprises

This paper studies the implementation of the5S on production scenes in China’s Natural Resource-based State-owned Enterprises (CNRSEs). It firstly introduces the basic ideas and general features of the5S and discusses its effective integration with production scene management, and then specifies the definition and classification of CNRSEs, and investigates the problems associated with the5S implementation on production scenes in CNRSEs using the normative and positive analyses. With a comparatively thorough analysis on the application of the5S principles to production scene management in Daye Nonferrous Metals Group CO., the author brings forward a general solution to the5S implementation on production scenes in CNRSEs with specified operational guidelines, criteria, steps, and assessment processes. The author finally completes the paper with some meaningful thoughts over the strategies applicable to further improve the implementation of the5S on production scenes in CNRSEs.
