Energy is the driving force of economic and social development, but also is the material basis for mankind’s survival and development. Sustainable energydevelopment ensure important prerequisite for sustainable economic development. With promoting world economic growth, energy supply and demand and environmental pollution and other issues gradually became a constraint to sustainablenational economic development bottleneck.Thirty years after reform and opening up, the level of economic development of China has been very greatly enhanced.The development of various socialundertakings have also made considerable progress. Coming decades is a critical period of building a moderately prosperous society, fully completed modern socialist country, and "China Dream". Due to industrialization and urbanization continued rapid advance, the total energy demand will continue to increase, the contradiction between economic development resource and environmental constraints facing the long-term existence. How to achieve coordinated economic development and energy consumption, China is walking the road of sustainable development need to solve the problem. Based on this, to energy Kuznets curve as astarting point, the relationship between economic development and energy research spending by OECD countries and China depicting energy Kuznets curve forthe relationship between economic development and the future handling of energy consumption provided reference.This article includes the following aspects: the first part, the energy Kuznets curve as a starting point to study the relationship between OECD countries, economic development and energy consumption, identify the different national economic development and energy consumption of the common law, and in the United States, Germany, focusing on research object, the two country’s economic development and energy consumption are described in detail; second part of China’s economic development and energy consumption are analyzed history, combined with the development of the situation and factors influencing the future ofChina’s future economic development and energy consumption of prospects conducted on the relationship between economic development and the future of China’s energy consumption was analyzed and forecast data by depicting the energyfuture of our country Kuznets curve. The third part, through China and the United States, the German energy Kuznets curve analysis and comparison of energyconsumption through inflection relevant data on how to deal with our relationship between economic development and energy consumption in the future are proposed.
