Project management developed very quickly in the past40years, especially in the21st century. Many enterprises of the world gradually realize the value of project management.When a company needs to manage many projects, it can not rely solely on project managers and the ability and attitude of the team to guarantee the success of the project, while the need for a way to replicate the success of the institutional system project, which is the project management system. Project management system refers to a company establishes a series of project process management system, structure, project management office, project management, information systems, project managers team management, construction of project culture and other factors in order to successfully implement project management methodology, so that the company supports the construction of project management system, and views the project management as a strategic competitive advantage.Decades ago, companies may had the right to choose whether to use the project management approach, but today the survival and development of enterprises depends largely on how well it and how fast to implement project management. To improve project success rates and achieve strategic objectives,companies must choice the construction project management system approach.Building an enterprise project management system is a very complex system engineering, including at least the most important of the three core elements:project management office solves the problem of who is responsible for the project. Unified project management process system solves the problems of the unified standard action. Project management information system solves the problem of the bearing of the electronic information system.This study was launched in accordance with these three core elements. Firstly, the article discussed the theory of project management system, secondly, analysed of the project management present situation of the HIP company, Finally, through putting the theory and practice of HIP’s specific construction project management system combining, the paper proposed a set of methods to construct company project management system, and provided recommendations for the construction of a similar company’s project management system.Research methods:1) Collecting relevant information, reading project management books, journals, papers, learning the theory, referring to the company specific practice;2) Qualitative survey analysis, analysis of the nature of research purposes, specifically using methods such as induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, and abstraction and generalization to process the materials available. On the basis of preliminary references and survey research, analysis and demonstration of how to build enterprise project management system;3) Case study method, through the analysis of HIP project management present situation, analyzing improvement demands, proposed a method for the construction of HIP’s project management system;4) Logic, using induction and deduction, analogy and reasoning, abstraction and generalization, analysis and synthesis methods.With the growing popularity of project management, more and more companies choose to construction project management system. Because each company’s situation and aspirations are vastly different, so there is no universally applicable to all the company’s project management system construction program, The article just hopes HIP’s experience as reference for similar company project management system, and more importantly,this article discussed how to build a company’s project management system.Construction project management systems will encounter many difficulties and challenges. As long as companies sort out the idea of building, clear positioning and vision of project management, analyze and assess the status of the company, formulate the overall construction plan of project management system. Through the efforts of the project management office and support of the senior leadership, construction project management system is bound to be successful, and will greatly promote the company’s management level and competitiveness.
