"Science and technology is the first productivity", the high-tech industry plays a huge role in promoting the economic development, with the development of economy, our country pay more and more attention to the development of high-tech industries. In this paper, first of all, I describe the distribution of high tech industry in China, then, based on the provincial panel data in China, I use the spatial econometric methods to analysis the factors influencing the distribution of China’s high-tech industry, As a comparison, I also use the method of the least squares regression. The results show that the agglomeration level of China’s high-tech industry continues to improve, regional development is not balanced, the development of the eastern is faster the central and western is relatively backward. At the same time, from the international point of view, there is still a big gap between our country and the developed countries. There is an obvious positive spatial effect in our high-tech industry. Among those factors, the transport cost has the greatest impact on its distribution, the impact of industrial externality, consumption capacity, whether it is the coastal area is very significant, while the impact of the government participation and openness is not significant. There are many differences in the interior of high-tech industry, as the pharmaceutical industry and the aerospace industry have their own industry particularity, the influence of government participation is significant, the influence factors of the medical apparatus and instrument manufacturing industry, the computer and office equipment manufacturing industry and the electronic communication manufacturing industry are similar to the high-tech industry generally. Finally, according to the research results, the paper gives some policy recommendations for the national high-tech industry development. |
