In recent years, with the prosperous development of the information tourism industry, the tourism industry is booming nowadays, especially the rural tourism for its special country life, the rural folk and the pastoral landscape.For this reason, the combination of rural tourism and tourism electronic commerce can not only bring a vast development space to sustainable tourism development, but also can achieve a win-win objective. We could even say that the development of rural tourism electronic commerce is a trend in an information society. The development of rural tourism electronic commerce is worthy for support and encouragement. But we can not ignore the problems in the process of development.This paper will explore how to develop the rural tourism better with the e-commerce. Firstly, by analyzing research results at home and abroad related to rural, the paper summarized the conclusion. It handed out200papers of questionnaires on the basis of each other’s experience. The aim of the questionnaire is to know about the demand of rural tourism e-commerce, the satisfaction, the expectation and suggestions to website’s functional modules. Secondly, based on the current situation of rural tourism e-commerce in Hainan province, the paper analyzed the content, the function, the e-commerce mode and the like of the main rural tourism websites of Hainan and found out problems in this area. For example, the websites’ types are single and simple with incomplete functions; some websites ignore the customer relationship management and have a low interaction ability; some websites are lack of personal services.Finally, the paper analyzed the development of rural tourism at present and the conclusion at the questionnaire and put forward the developmental strategies of Hainan rural tourism e-commerce. First, construct an electronic website for travel companies and village resort. Second, enrich the content and form of the website. Third, establish a regional development fund, industry corporation confederation. Fourth, the companies make system management, division of labor. Lastly, establish an app for Hainan rural tourism e-commerce. Through the study of this subject, the paper provides some reference and reference roles to the development of rural tourism electronic commerce in Hainan.
