The rapid development of the new media based on Internet technology andmobile Internet technology has a big influence on the work of science popularization inChina. The new media has not only changed the way of science popularization butalso improved the ability of it. Besides, the new media has improved the status of thepublic, and even affected the whole form of science popularization. At the same time,the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and the demandfor outstanding science popularization products are driving the process ofindustrialization of science popularization. In the traditional science popularizationcareer, both the products and the working patterns are facing changes. Through theintroduction of market mechanisms, innovation of production, management and policyaround new media is the key to enhance the ability of the popularization of science. Interms of product content, I analyses the domestic status of the science popularizationand have done researches about the international cases, resulting in a conclusion that weshould update not only the contents but also the forms of the products. As to themanagement, I suggest the innovation of our attitude towards the changes andchallenges. We should implement the global corporation, inter-enterprise cooperation,and seek support from the government. In terms of policy innovation, I advised thegovernment to propose specific policies to promote and improve the operability. Besides,I suggest add the law of the science popularization industry into the system of theculture industry. A specific intellectual property law in the field of sciencepopularization industry is also in desperate need.
