A Case Study Of The Safety Culture Optimization Strategy Of The Dalian Site Of I Corporation

Being I corp’s first high-tech wafer fabrication facility in Asia, since its start up in2007, her Dalian site has always put safety as the first priority and integrated safety into its day to day operation, and has achieved great results. To take safety to the next level, the site has made a safety vision of LIFE or Living Incident and Injury Free Environment; a value based cultural shift aiming to eliminating all incidents and injuries. Now6years later, we see both challenges as well as achievements.This paper discusses domestic and foreign best known methods in safety culture area and provides a package of optimization strategy based on a combination of evidence and theories. we hope this paper which will help further enhance I corporation Dalian site’s LIFE culture, and do our part in promoting safety culture management in China’s many foreign invested companies, and ultimately minimizing accidents and injuries.
