Owing to lack of attention to management of innovative knowledge, the domestic joint automobile ventures show a slow development in their endogenous innovation, even expressed as the Matthew Effect of "imported technology copying technology-fall behind-another introduction of new teehnology". In order to improve their ability of innovative knowledge management, enterprises need to take the initiative, and promote the development of endogenous innovation by their dynamic management abilities.This paper take Volkswagen FAW Engine (Dalian) Co., Ltd as the case with the single case study approach, and figure out how the dynamic capabilities of the enterprise affect the knowledge transfer in the process of enterprise’s endogenous innovation and establish the corresponding conceptual model.With the thoroughly research of the former papers, and analysis of data from the case, this paper decomposed the dynamic capability into three dimensions that is absorption ability, learning ability and innovation ability. This paper focuses on the analysis of the implementation process of knowledge transfer within the three stages of endogenous innovation, and how the dynamic capability affects this process. In the introduction stage of endogenous innovation, obtaining personal initiative training and technical environment are needed to create explicit knowledge. Enterprises should make full use of absorptive capacity of employees, and improve the explicit knowledge of individual employees. In production stage of endogenous innovation, the transfer from enterprise explicit knowledge into tacit knowledge conversion is the key link of realizing the enterprise technology upgrading, managers should pay attention to the construction of learning organization to improve the organization’s learning ability, and improve the overall level of implementation of tacit knowledge, with the upgrade of knowledge level. In the innovation stage of endogenous innovation, through the cultivation of innovation, strategic guidance and innovation environment, development of enterprise innovation ability, the innovation breakthrough can be achieved. Based on single case research of Volkswagen FAW Engine (Dalian) Co., Ltd, this paper can obtain the following conclusions.Firstly, to improve employee’s explicit knowledge in the joint automobile enterprises depends on the human-based management. At present the main source of domestic joint automobile enterprises was provided by foreign partners, the first step to pass the technology blockade is guiding the learning initiative of employees, and that is to improve employee’s individual knowledge. The case enterprise improves the staff’s sense of belonging and identifies with enterprise’s culture through human-based management, so that employees can devote to the work, and to stimulate enthusiasm for learning new knowledge.Secondly, explicit knowledge change into tacit knowledge is the process of internal knowledge’s sublimation, and the learning organization will help to establish the process. The learning organization stresses on employee’s sharing, open learning environment, at the same time, the enterprise advocates to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and sharing of professional knowledge through brainstorming form.Thirdly, it is critical essential to establish the own supplier system to enterprise innovation environment. The perfect system of auto parts suppliers is essential for the implementation of the new enterprise projects. Considered with Chinese marketing, it is essential to study the localization of automobile engine, the development of the domestic automobile parts industry will bring great influence to local research. This was further verified present views about automobile joint venture needs to construct the suppliers systems of the independent innovation.Fourthly, the process mechanism of dynamic capabilities on enterprise independent innovation is a dynamic, continuous process. In this paper, through the analysis of the case, and the three dimensions of dynamic ability are correlated with each other, they exhibit synergistic high consistency at the same level, so we should not analyze them separately.In this paper, the innovative lies in two aspects. On one hand, this paper analyses the path of endogenous innovation from the perspective of knowledge management, and it is a new attempt to the theoretical research. On the other hand, In the literature review, the researches of endogenous innovation are focused on dimension analysis and factor analysis. And this paper analyzes the way of independent innovation process which is a relatively practical attempt.
