The auto-making industry has experienced rapid development in recent years.Its total automobile production and sales hit all-time highs by2014. Jointlyestablished by Johnson Controls and China First Automotive Works, ChangchunFuwei Johnson Controls Auto Decorations Co., Ltd. is an automotive partsenterprise specializing in design, R&D and manufacturing of automobile interior.Now the company’s clients include FAW-VW, FAW Car, FAW Jiefang, FAW Toyota,Beijing Benz, Tianjing Toyota and so on, and its major products include auto seat,dash board, door sheet, ceiling and other automotive trims. During the developmentprocess of improving its capacity, Changchun Fuwei Johnson Controls AutoDecorations Co., Ltd. is facing the problems of insufficient logistic managementlevel, inefficiency in logistic management and high logistic management cost, whichproduce severe effects on its competitiveness.First, this paper details the existing problems of the company in logisticmanagement, including uncontrolled offer from suppliers, uncontrolled management,complicated incoming process and high transport cost in incoming logistics ofsuppliers, no clear driving signal, difficulty in identifying and picking parts, etc.Meanwhile, this paper also points out the company’s disadvantages in logisticinformation system. Then, based on the company’s history, the author analyzes thecompany’s deficiencies in management and planning in details and explores thecauses of these logistic problems. Then, the external and internal environmentalfactors in the company’s logistic development are summed up, and SWOT analysisis employed to study the company’s development strategies available.Second, according to the comprehensive strategy management mode learned in class, a long term development goal of achieving efficient integrated logisticinformation management is established for the company. The author emphasizes onthe two key elements, namely logistic information integration and high efficiency,and they are further divided into development goals of business process andinformation. The development goal of business process focus on modification ofbusiness process and optimize the current business process with the support ofinformation system, so as to address the deficiencies in the existing business process.The development goal of information stresses on the introduction of informationsystem so that an excellent information system can direct the existing work and fillup the deficiencies in the current logistics.Third, the conclusion of SWOT analysis is adopted to discuss the company’sdevelopment strategy and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of eachdevelopment strategy available. A cost-dominant and diversified operation strategyis set up from leading by the company’s long term development goal. Moreover, thedata is analyzed by SWOT method to explain the necessity and feasibility of thecompany’s strategy selection.Finally, connecting with the practical situation of the company’s logistic system andthe author’s knowledge about lean logistics, the author designs the implementationof multiple jobs in business process development and information development andpresents the steps to implement each project and the expected results. Through ananalysis of these results, the company’s problems in logistic management can beresolved in an effective way, thereby improving the efficiency of logisticmanagement, reducing the cost of logistic management and optimizing the goals ofmanagement system. At last, the paper describes many measures that the companyadopts to ensure the successful implementation of each optimized projects in termsof capital, technology, personnel and so on. Meanwhile, the principle of combinginformation system with logistic business throughout the paper provide strong theoretical support for the development of the company’s future logistic business.
