The Situation Analysis And The Study Of The Developing Strategy On B Branch In Bank A

Kinds of demands for the financial goods and services boost with the rapid development and consistent update of economics in China. Investing bank business seems a reasonable way for commercial banks to convert under the situation of interest rate openness, capital constraint and shift of financing structure. The same things happen to Bank A, too. The operation of investing bank business is crucial for both B branch and the whole bank corporation. What we focus in this thesis is the situation analysis of investing bank business and consequently the suggestions on the strategy for B branch to improve her business.Combining SWOT analysis method, PEST analysis method and Balanced Scorecard Analysis, we describe and analyze the situation of investing bank business of B branch in 16 dimensions, which could be divided into 40 observation aspects. The results show that the investing bank business goes well and the factors of opportunity and threaten are convertible. Customer is the main aspect to show the strengthen and weakness of B branch. All in all, S-C-O-E could be employed to indicate the situation of investing bank business in B branch, which means B branch should take its own advantages, especially in customer and marketing and keep itself substantially developing based on the situation of the economic environment at the same time.Seven chapters are included for the related study in this thesis. The first chapter is the brief introduction about the background, meanings, goals, methods and creativity of this study. The second part is literature review where the related theoretical background, the former comparative and historical study are introduced. Then, the investing bank business in B branch of A bank is introduced briefly and systemically in the third chapter. What’s more, the investing bank business in B branch of A bank is deeply analyzed in the view of strategic development by SWOT, PEST and BSC in the forth chapter. According to the results obtained from the study in the forth chapter, the present and potential problems about the development strategies of B branch of A bank are suggested in the fifth chapter and the suggestion on how to improve the development strategies are discussed in the sixth chapter. At last, the overview of the study is shown in the seventh chapter including the main conclusion and the prospect.As for the suggestion on how to improve the investing bank business of B branch, five pieces are made, which are about product, customer, management, learning and finance respectively. In details, the first suggestion is to clarify the product line and decide which you would like to improve. The second one is improve the ability of marketing. The third one is improve risk control. The fourth one is to strengthen the on job training. The fifth is to improve the management cooperation and pay more attaintion to the indirect professional effect. The sixth is to make the allocation strategy on the capital in the money pool underdstood clearly. The seventh is to make the product innovation strategy.
