With the progress and development of human society, people demand for spiritual culture is growing up. Theme park as a new type of tourism resources, with its unique cultural connotation and the theme of the extraordinary experience, effective combination of modern science and technology, collection of leisure, entertainment and service reception, gradually become a modern tourism resources development in the process of a kind of brand-new, unique experience of tourism products.After entering the 21 st century, the theme park of cultural industry is not only involved in the film and television, network, audio books and other modern cultural industry, at the same time also promote the economic growth of the tourism resources. Since the birth of the first Disney park as a new type of conceptualization and tourism experience form identity and accepted by people, has been widely acclaimed.Our country in recent years, under the strong support of national policy, theme parks of cultural industry has been rapid development. The starting point of this topic research is to Felix the cat in the world’s first cartoon stars as design elements, through the paper summarizes and analyzes the successful experience of Disneyland, to apply the design essence in this topic, and avoid its disadvantages. For the development of the theme park design and introduces the background, to study and design of theme park must follow the principles, methods, and design and research of Felix the cat theme park is discussed in detail. And thus find out better suited to Felix the cat theme park design, research and innovation, and hope that by Felix the cat theme park design and research to make theoretical contribution to the construction of theme parks in China.
