| The aim of the present study is to explore the relationship between the corporate culture in large state-owned enterprise and employee job satisfaction. From another perspective, it studies and offers some insight into the factors affecting the employee job satisfaction, and provides some methods and means to improve employee job satisfaction from the point of view of corporate culture.Firstly, this paper determines the research themes, research objects and research methods through collecting and consulting a large number of relevant Chinese and English literature information, making a literature review on the corporate culture, the definition of employee job satisfaction, dimension, and other related factors and measurement methods, understanding the research status of corporate culture and employee job satisfaction and the correlations between them, and preliminary builds the model of the relationships between them, and puts forward the research hypothesis. Secondly, through consulting and learning from the questionnaires developed by domestic and overseas scholars, it designs and makes the scales. Meanwhile, taking the employees in large state-owned enterprises N power supply company as an example, it carries out the investigation and study. Based on the verification of the questionnaire reliability and validity, through adopting SPSS19.0 statistical software to conduct a statistical analysis on the collected data, it concluded the relationship between two variables—the corporate culture in large state-owned enterprises and employee job satisfaction, and the effect of employee characteristics on the relationship between corporate culture and employee job satisfaction.Finally, through related research and analysis, it verifies the previous hypothesis model, and draws the results as follows:1. The corporate culture in large state-owned enterprises is correlated significantly with employee job satisfaction; 2. The four dimensions — corporate culture in large state-owned enterprises, employee development, interpersonal harmony, remarkable innovation, team spirit, are correlated with employee job satisfaction; 3. The employee characteristics(gender, marital status, education and position) play an important role in moderating the correlation between corporate culture and employee job satisfaction. At the same time, according to the research results, it puts forward the following suggestions: we should attach importance to the corporate culture in the enterprise management. Meanwhile, we should give attention to the adjusting effects of different employee characteristics to the relationship between corporate culture and employee job satisfaction. Through building a good corporate culture to improve employee job satisfaction, a corporate can eventually create greater enterprise benefit. |
