The problem of migrant workers’ employment has always been the central issue of research and concerns of all ranks. In recent years,researches on investigations on migrant workers are growing more and more while few of them focus on local employment situations of migrant workers. Some migrant workers of Hengyang are facing employment problem,at the same time, some enterprises in Hengyang are facing recruitment difficulties, employment structural contradictions still exist in Hengyang.Based on Hengyang actual situation, firstly, this study surveys current situation and existing problems of Hengyang migrant workers’ local employment through interview, questionnaire and literature revision,etc.Secondly, it adopts the comparison method,quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze its causes and impacts.Thirdly,through human resources management theories,it explores ways to improve local employment of migrant workers in Hengyang City.Finally, the writer makes a summary andoutlook.The investigation discovered that local employment of migrant workers in Hengyang facing with a lot of problems, such as high unemployment and the "abor shortage" coexist,security is not perfect,low pay and benefits,instability relationship,frequent job-hopping phenomenon,unsufficient funds,entrepreneurial walks with difficulty and so on.The main reason is the government’s public service functions are not played enough,the enterprises’ behavior do not regulate while employing migrant workers,migrant workers themselves overall quality is not high and so on.So that we suggest that the government should improve its public employment service functions,the enterprises should standardize the behavior of employ migrant workers, and the functional department should strengthen the training and education of migrant workers to enhance their overall quality.The innovation of this study is not only a sociological problem but also an economic issue,and guides MBA students to focus on economic and social concerns. This study is helpful to improve the local employment of migrant workers in Hengyang City and business and employment quality,meanwhile,to alleviate employment structural contradictions,to meet the needs of business recruitment,standardize corporate employment practices,govern Hengyang migrant workers jobless poverty,narrow income gaps, cracks series economic issues in Hengyang and promote healthy development, socialstability and harmony,which has some practical significance.
