| Our country’s industry of electronic components founded in the 1950 s, After nearly 20 years development, it has been grown from an emerging industry to the guiding and pillar industry of national economy. In recent years, this industry has been developed rapidly, the category of products has been rich, and has gradually formed some industry with certain scale. In 2013, under the tide of intelligentialize, the intelligent consumer electronics products is still one of the strong growth industry in the global economy. In this year, smart tablet computers, smart TVS and smart phones have achieved a good sale performance in the global market. Many companies which including SONY,Microsoft and SAMSUNG have set out smart wearable devices with different functions. As the consumer electronic products develop towards intelligent, light, portable, and new intelligent terminal products emerge in endlessly, new industry opportunities spring up, which all provide broad market prospects and development opportunities for electronic components industry.This thesis selects Goer Tek Inc.(hereinafter referred as Goer Tek) which is the leading enterprise in the domestic electronic industry as the research object. On the basis of Goer Tek’s five years annual reports and financial statements from 2009 to 2013, this thesis uses the Harvard Analysis Framework to make an evaluation and analysis on four aspects, which including strategy, accountant, finance and prospect. Through spying the industry, pulsing the company’s strategy and doubting the high-speed growth, thus can make a further understanding of the company’s operating situation, and find the existing problems. After comparing the company’s different annual financial data and the comparison of the different enterprises in the same industry, combined with challenges and risks which the electronic components industry faces, in question at the same time, to give suggestions on the aspects of company’s operation and development. After the analysis, this thesis hopes to offer some suggestion for who are interested in this emerging industry.This thesis includes three parts, the first part is the introduction, the second part is the body which is the main part of this thesis, and the third part is the conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces this thesis’ s research background, research significance, research content and research purpose, research method and train of thought.The body part is divided into three chapters. Chapter One is the Harvard Analysis Framework, which emphasis on the main contents of the Harvard Analysis Framework and the analysis method of this framework. It also introduces the relevant theories of financial statement analysis. Chapter Two introduces the general situation of Goer Tek and Goer Tek’s current financial status. Chapter Three through the analysis of Goer Tek’s strategy, accountant, finance and prospect to make an conclusion, thus all of these can explore the existing problem of the company.The last pare of the thesis is the conclusion. In this part, after summarizing the previous analysis, based on the enterprise’s strategic positioning, points out the defects of enterprise development, and give some suggestion to the enterprise’s development.Through the study of the thesis, Goer Tek as a leading company in the field of electronic components industry has been expanded rapidly in recent years. And at the same time, there still exists some problems which including too much accounts receivable, intangible assets investment insufficient, too concentrative of the customer. In the face of the rapid development of technology and the competition in the market, the company’s performance support slightly weak. Although the company has a remarkable performance in recent years, the rapid expansion of the company may have already reached the bottleneck. Continue or not, is still an open question, investors are still facing some risks. |
