In recent years, network group buying has gradually entered people’s daily life in China, and with the transaction scale and the user scale is increasing year by year, network group buying industry is rapidly developing, however, this rapid development does not make network group buying industry get huge profit, in fact, on the whole, at present our country’s network group buying industry is not profitable. Many reasons for this phenomenon, one important reason is, Chinese network group buying company——group buying website, has yet to find suitable profit model for their own. As is known to all, profit model which is suitable for their own is very important for any enterprise, group buying website is no exception. Therefore, taking advantage of the excellent situation of network group buying industry’s vigorous development, to find a scientific, reasonable and sustainable profit model for group buying website to obtain profit, so as to realize the overall network group buying industry’s profit, is currently Chinese group buying website’s important problem to pay urgent attention to and solve.This paper introduces the situation of group buying website in China on the whole is not profitable, based on this as research background, expounds the research goal of selecting and developing suitable profit model for Chinese group buying website, and then summarized the domestic and foreign scholars on the research status of the group buying website profit pattern, and combs the related theory of group buying website and profit model. On this basis, the author puts forward the optimization method of group buying website profit pattern in our country, which is based on a questionnaire survey, firstly using the boda function to evaluate the existing eight kinds of profit model of Chinese group buying website, then according to the evaluation results, using the Boston matrix to divide the eight kinds of profit model of group buying website into four different types, and then from a variety of angles, puts forward targeted strategy of selecting and developing profit model for the group buying website. In this optimization method, the classification and evaluation of profit model is the means, the selection and development of profit model is the objective. After that, take the Meituan website as an example, evaluates and classifies its profit model with the optimization method of profit model, and according to the classification results, puts forward the corresponding strategy of selecting and developing profit model for it from a variety of angles. At the end of the article, the author summarizes the research content of this paper, points out the shortcomings and puts forward some suggestions for improvement, and looking forward to the future research.The author hopes that through the research of optimization method of group buying website profit pattern in our country, to provide some reference and experience for group buying website as well as other enterprises in the selection and development of suitable profit model for their own.
