Research On Modern Agricultural Development In Laibin

In this paper, guided by modern agricultural theory, and on the basis of the investigation and analysis on the current situation of agricultural development in Laibin, the writer calculates the actual value of each indicator through the development of evaluation index system of modern agriculture, and using the relevant data during 2004-2013. The writer also evaluates quantitatively the level of development of modern agriculture in Laibin using objective model, measures its stage of development and identifies deficiencies and problems that exist in its development process by analyzing index evaluations, and then proposes countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the development of modern agriculture in Laibin.The main conclusions are:(1)To establish a evaluation system of modern agricultural development indicators in Laibin. The whole evaluation system is consisted of four levels, including seven first-level indicators,30 secondary indicators and 60 auxiliary indicators. Wherein the first-level indicators include:the level of agricultural economic structure, the level of agricultural inputs, the level of agricultural outputs, the level of agricultural science and technology to protect, the level of agricultural socio-economic, the level of agricultural society service and the level of agricultural sustainable development. (2) During 2004-2013, modern agricultural development in Laibin is divided into two stages: Preparing to realize modern agriculture stage from 2004 to 2011 and initially realized stage from 2012 to 2013, which is but in a position of starting point. (3) In a seven-index evaluation in 2013, there are two indicators located in the basically realized stage of modern agriculture, two indicators in the initially realized stage, and the remaining three are in the preparing to realize stage. The order of evaluation index is as follows:the level of agricultural outputs (0.8657)> the level of agricultural sustainable development (0.7727)> the level of agricultural socio-economic (0.6024)> the level of agricultural science and technology to protect (0.5618)> the level of agricultural inputs (0.2726)> the level of agricultural economic structure (0.2146)> the level of agricultural society service (0.1202). (4) Through the analysis of evaluation results, problems like irrational industrial structure, low level of industrialization, weak technological and innovation ability, low degree of marketing, lack of agricultural equipment and weak infrastructure, missing of quality brands are concluded in the development of modern agriculture in Laibin. (5) In response to these problems, countermeasures and suggestions to promote agriculture including the adjustment of industrial product structure, promotion of industrial management, technological innovation and fine achievement-transformation, promoting market-oriented process, strengthening infrastructure construction and enhancing brand influence are proposed.
