In recent years, the Vietnamese government has implemented a number of tourism promotion plan for international tourist market, and obtained certain achievement. Vietnam tourism brand has a certain popularity and reputation in the international market, the number of international tourists traveling to Vietnam’s rapidly growing. According to statistics from Vietnam National Administration of tourism, the number of international tourists traveling to Vietnam in 2014 was up to 8000000, year-on-year growth rate of 5%.China is the largest tourist market of Vietnam tourism. In order to develop China market, Vietnamese government has formulated and carried out many tourism marketing plan, internet marketing can be said to be one of the most important ways of tourism marketing. Although Vietnam has been formulated internet marketing plan for China market, the overall strategy of internet marketing however is not professional, resulting in internet marketing is not carried out properly and the marketing effect is not great.This paper analyzes the quantity, scale, growth rate and characteristics of China tourists traveling to Vietnam, and emphasizes the importance of formulating the internet marketing strategy for China market. At the same time, analyses a number of problems in Vietnam internet marketing strategy for China market, such as lacking overall strategy, the number of marketing channels is minimal, the function of official website is limited and tourism promoting is not effective, presents many technology strategies such as the official website marketing, video marketing, micro-blog marketing, blog marketing, and cooperating with China Tourism websites, along with the implementation of the government and tourism enterprises.
