Faced with the fierce competition and the market demands which are personalized and diversified, more and more enterprises have relized that it’s very necessary to innovate by which the speed of product updating can be accelerated, as well as the market competiveness of the enterprises can be improved. Comprehensive has been made to update the modern innovative design theories, methods and techniques. It’s of great significance for the survival and development of enterprises.In the systematic design environment, the product design process requires integration of multi-species, multi-field, complex structure design activity and design knowledge. Single innovative design approach has some limitations which mean that it is difficult to meet the requirements of complex design environment. It is particularly important to integrate two kinds or more innovative design methods to solve complex problems in modern product designs. This paper presents a new design method for product innovation by which Extensise and TRIZ theory can be integrated effectively, and the extension-TRIZ product innovation design model was built. The research contents are as follows:According to the defects in each process of resolving contradictions by extenics and TRIZ, the similarities, differences, advantages and disadvantages of the two theories was compared and analyzed. The necessity and foothold of integrating extension and TRIZ was expounded. As the general iengineering parameters and the principles of inventions of TRIZ are abstract and vague, they are expressed formally combined with the element theory.Based on the research above, the multidimensional correlation functions and the similarity value were matched with the product instance library, and obtain single factor design problem or multi-factor design problem. While the element theory was used to formal contradictions in the corresponding model of TRIZ, the advantages of extenics and the rich experience of TRIZ were integrated, so that it’s easy to gain the multi-factor qualitative and quantitative extension knowledge conflict model which caused by the product innovate design.Integrating the advantage of the logical reasoning ability in extension transformation and problem-solving contradiction ideas in TRIZ, the substance-field model or contradiction matrix was constructed, and the standard principle solution and the invention principle solution of technology contradiction or physical contradiction were given, thus to gain the principle solution which can meet the invention design requirements.Combined with the extension-TRIZ innovative design method in the paper, targeted at the noise of screw air compressor, the feasibility of this new technical method was preliminary verified. |
