The Study Of Vegetable Circulation Mode In Hubei

With the continuous development of the socialist economy, the circulation of agricultural products has gradually attracted wide attention. As part of the circulation of agricultural products, the quality of the flow conditions of vegetable circulation will have impact on the residents to some extent. By the end of 2014, there are up to 5816 residents in Hubei province, for whom the demand of quantity and variety of the vegetables is great in their daily life. The efficiency of circulation patterns of vegetables is directly related to the quality of life of consumers. So efficient vegetable circulation mode is not only the solution to the "hard to buy" and "hard to sell" problems of current vegetables, but also is the solution to the contradiction between supply and demand of vegetables, to increase the income of producers, and thus to make the social stability come true.Starting from the status analysis of vegetable circulation of Hubei Province, this paper points out the existing problems of vegetable circulation in Hubei Province, introduces the present six vegetable circulation patterns in Hubei Province, that is, the wholesale markets, supermarkets, enterprises, farmers’markets, supply chain of e-commerce and "Community Supported Agriculture", and does SWOT research on the two major retail outlets (farmers’markets and supermarkets). Based on these analyzes, this paper also conducts consumer research demonstrates on these two retail outlets: farmers’ markets and supermarkets these two retail outlets have their own attraction and inadequacies for consumers. Finally, according to the problems noted earlier, this paper puts forward some constructive suggestions on the optimization of vegetable circulation mode in Hubei.Firstly, this article describes the background and significance of vegetable circulation patterns of Hubei, summarizes domestic and international research literature on vegetable circulation and points out research methods, technical route, and some possible innovation and deficiencies of this paper. Secondly, this article introduces the basic theory of vegetable circulation patterns, defines the concepts and analyzes the theoretical basis of this study. The theory includes transaction cost theory, game theory and the theory of specialization. Thirdly, this article describes the current situation and problems of vegetable circulation of Hubei Province. In this part, this article collected a large number of actual data to analyze the status of the vegetable circulation of Hubei Province and found a series of problems, such as low level of organization of production, low efficiency of logistics, backward circulation technology and not high information degree. Then this article introduces the present six vegetable circulation patterns in Hubei Province, and does a detailed research on the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of farmers’markets and supermarkets these two retail outlets. Besides, this paper does a survey of end consumers in the form of a questionnaire, and takes the form of descriptive statistics to analyze factors that influencing consumer preference for farmers’markets and supermarkets:the farmers markets and supermarkets each have advantages and disadvantages. Farmers’market has a comparative advantage on vegetables freshness and price, but has disadvantage on the quality security and sanitation aspects of vegetables. Although the vegetable price of supermarket is relatively high, it has an guarantee for health conditions, quality security and credibility. At last, this paper makes the following suggestions to improve the main body of circulation and circulation environment according to the vegetable circulation problems in Hubei Province and the discussion of above chapters:firstly, strengthen the construction of main body of circulation to improve the degree of organization; secondly, optimize the circulation environment and accelerate infrastructure construction to promote information sharing. The research also has certain reference significance for the development of vegetable circulation of Hubei province.
