Study On The Development Of Sport Tourism In Hunan Province

The 21 st century is people-oriented century, Entertainment and health are the focus people concerned.Healthy consumption and green consumption have become a new concept of consumption.Sports tourism is a rising consumption mode, enables entertainment and health to be obtained in an activity at the same time and has gradually become the new darling of the modern tourism activities.Chinese sports tourism is late started,but now in a rapid development period and has become a new economic growth point in many cities。Hunan province is rich in natural resources, strategic location and geographical characteristics, but also has a strong long Hunan culture and national sports culture, so its conditions for the development of sports tourism are excellent.Sports tourism is a new integrated product which rises with development of material and spiritual civilization of contemporary social, and has become an indispensable means and tool to promote the development of contemporary tourism and mass sports, and are of great significance to the development of economic and social.This study,based in Hunan, investigated on the sports tourism development in Hunan Province by literature, expert interviews, site visits, surveys, and then used SWOT analysis to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and conditions for the development of sports tourism in Hunan.This study, by combining the results of the survey, is to provide a more complete theoretical basis and guidance for the development of sports tourism in Hunan province for promoting the development of sports tourism in Hunan。The first part introduces the research background and significance of sports tourism, recognizes the research progress,and describes the study objectives, contents and methods。The second part of this article describes the research methods including literature research, expert interviews, site visits, questionnaires.The third part points out used SWOT analysis to analyze the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which the development of sports tourism in Hunan will face.The results showed that Hunan is rich in tourism resources, sports tourism resource base is better but the lack of talent, sports tourism product is not rich, resource development and utilization is not high, no obvious features. Such issues will restricted the rapid development of sports tourism in Hunan Province.The fourth part of this paper summarizes and makes recommendations.
