Research On The Logistics Cost Management And Control Of E-commerce Enterprise

Nowadays, the electronic commerce has gradually spread to all areas of social and economic life as the main means of trading. With the rapid growth of e-commerce in China, the problem of logistics short board has become more serious. The high cost of logistics restricts the long-term development of e-commerce industry, therefore, cost control of logistics should be the key point for e-commerce enterprise to improve competitiveness, which is determined by its own industry characteristics. However, as we cannot completely copy the cost control mode from traditional enterprise to the e-commerce industry, we must find another cost control method which is suitable for the development of this kind of industry, and this is of great significance to the sustainable development of e-commerce industry.This paper uses theoretical analysis combined with case study. We study the cases at home and abroad based on the introduction of theory, work out the differences of logistics cost management and control at home and abroad through comparison, analyze the deficiency and put forward the corresponding suggestions for improvement.This paper will first describe the research background and significance, summarize and review domestic and foreign literature, introduce the research methods and ideas based on the relevant research results, and then set out the basic concept and theory of the logistics cost management and control of e-commerce industry, followed by a case study. The case analyzes two e-commerce companies Alibaba and Amazon respectively from the four aspects: logistics mode, supply chain, product quality and service level, transportation and distribution. We summarize differences of logistics cost management and control at home and abroad in terms of principal cost, inventory cost, return cost and transportation cost, put forward several suggestions on the current situation of logistics cost management and control of our country through analysis: formulate unified logistics computation standards, select reasonable logistics mode, integrate management of supply chain, improve product quality and service level. We need enterprises to improve the efficiency, and the government to actively rectify unreasonable charging. Our society should emphasize the personnel training of logistics management, gradually improve the logistics management laws and regulations, and strengthen the government support and guidance. However, dueto the own characteristics of e-commerce industry, many features are still in formation, thus we cannot accurately describe all the characteristics of the logistics cost management and control and solve all the problem, so the e-commerce industry logistics cost control is an important research topic that worth studying for long.
