The world is undergoing a massive change, wherein the trend of economic globalization and informatization is obvious and it has transferred to a knowledge economic era from a material economy era. New era, pressing problems faced by enterprises is how to reasonable use and develop human resources in order to bring the enterprise a potential, sustainable competitive advantage. Patent agency is an emerging industry, there are broad prospects for development. However, what its rapid development corresponds to is that patent agent is a serious shortage of existing talent, combined with special property of the patent agency industry, talent is playing an increasingly important role in the enterprise. How to understand the needs of employees and motivate staff enthusiasm for work become a common issue concerned by managers, experts and scholars.In this thesis, the empirical method to study the incentive issue of knowledge employees in YLZL Patent Agent Company is employed to help businesses optimize the incentives mechanism to knowledge employees, improve staff motivation, and promote long-term development. This study is divided into three portions:Literature section: Determine the direction of research and ideas in this article by searching and reading books and literature relative to incentive, especially related to motivation of knowledge employees, to a lot of experts and scholars at home and abroad.Empirical investigation and data analysis: Preparation for a questionnaire adapted to YLZL Patent Agent Company to empirically investigate the incentives on the company’s knowledge employees. I use SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis software for data processing and analyze problems and causes thereof existing in enterprise incentive management on knowledge employees.Portion to optimize incentives mechanism: According to the analysis of the survey results, combined with the actual situation of the company, a targeted and specific operational optimization program on company incentives for knowledge workers is proposed to enhance the overall enthusiasm of employees.Currently, there are problems in many aspects such as material rewards incentives,personal growth motivation, job content incentives, organizational environmental incentives, in YLZL Patent Agent Company, and employees have lower satisfaction on thesame, and overall employee motivation is also at a low level. In view of this situation, the thesis delves into the shortage and the reasons for its existence, combined company employee’s needs and circumstances, in accordance with the people-oriented, on-demand incentive principles, an incentive system for YLZL Patent Agent Co. was optimized.Material incentives in return areas generally include the implementation of multidimensional salary, flexible benefits system, establishment of a diversified distribution system. Personal growth incentives areas generally include improving employee training and employee career development system. The main content of the work incentives includes double-way choice in job and adequate work authorization.Organizational Environmental incentives areas are mainly training excellent corporate culture.Because the company did not research a system of employee incentive system, this article surveys and analyzes the company incentive situation through the questionnaire,provides the concrete optimization scheme, and has a certain support and promote effect to enhance the level of the company’s overall human resource management, especially the knowledge staff’s work enthusiasm. At the same time, because the patent agency industry is in shorter time and many companies in the same industry are lack of scientific incentive system in the aspect of employee motivation, in view of the same industry common properties and management, this article can also provide a certain degree of reference for other companies in the same industry in the aspect of employee incentive.
