Electric power company is the basis for national economic and social development. It has been widespread concerned by the community as the typical nature monopoly industry. In recent years, as the State-owned pursuing of social benefits and obtaining the economic benefits, Electric power company faces unprecedented challenge in the reformation of electric power for breaking monopolize and leading into competing. It leaves us with the pressing questions about how to break and innovation to achieve maximum of company interests while how to response to the crisis of the company.In this paper, according to an massive blackout critical event in 2010, the electric power company in A has been taken for an example. We found that there are three questions of Crisis Public Relations Management by analyzing investigation into the current situation of the management:Communicate with customers, internal management of enterprises and external propaganda. The weak sense of service and lack of effective way to communicate lead to the prejudice from public. Corporate culture may become a mere formality when employees that work for company without the collective sense of honor while leaders ignore the key management tache of crisis. Problems in the external propaganda are analyzed, such as the positive coverage are not getting the mainstream coverage of, and people underestimate the significance of web media.Based on years of work experience, this paper gives out a of Crisis Management mode:Prevent, Emergency and Experience (PEE). The first, establish the mechanism of crisis management and really connect and pay attention to the customer, government, media and staff in the preventive stage. Second, when crisis strikes, using the emergency-response mechanisms to protect company from the worst of the storm. Third, call a meeting immediately after the crisis passed, write a general analysis report, special report and case study. PEE changes the traditional way that only rescue when crisis has already happened in the past, emphasize the importance of prevention. Therefore, PEE has the high reference and the practical value in improving customer satisfaction and corporate image.
