Study On The Relationship Between The Export Commodity Structure And Economic Growth In Anhui Province

The development of International trade makes contact among the countries all over the world closely. Almost all countries participate in the progress of International trade in a positive and inclusive attitude. Economies in the world attach great importance to the development of international trade, and strengthen cooperation with the rest of the world. Japan, Singapore and other countries’ choice of economic development model and their achievements proved that through foreign trade a country can achieve economic development.For a country its like this, then for a region to participate in international trade can also promote the rapid development of economy. The high-speed development of China’s Shanghai, Guangdong, Fujian and other places are the best examples to prove it. To achieve the economic growth, Anhui must also promote its international trade. Since Chinese reform and opening up, Anhui exports and economic have developed rapidly, with strong speed of foreign trade growth joining the spring tide of economic globalization. Export trade make big influence on the economic development of Anhui province. However, increase of the total amount of foreign trade does not mean a high level of foreign trade of Anhui province, because there is still much irrationality in the export structure of Anhui province. Irrationality of the export commodity structure restraint foreign trade to play a greater role in economic growth. Especially in recent years, the development of the world economic situation is not optimistic and the great changes of the needs of the world market, which bring a lot of adverse effects and difficulties and resistance to foreign trade enterprises. According to the third plenary session of the 18 report, we should speed up the transformation of the mode of economic growth and push forward the reform toward the optimization of structure, expand the depth direction, to improve business efficiency. Thus promote strategic adjustment of economic structure is the main attack direction in accelerating transformation of the mode of economic growth, and export commodity structure is one of important part of the economic structure adjustment. Facing with the international situation and the overall requirements of domestic economic development, how to maximize the effect of export trade on the growth of Anhui province is largely depending on the reasonable localization of export commodity structure. Therefore, studying on the relationship between the export commodity structure and economic growth of Anhui Province is particularly important.This article is divided into five chapter altogether. Chapter one is an introduction, briefly describes the background and significance of this paper, as well as research methods and content framework, mainly introduces the research trend at home and abroad. In term of foreign research presentation, we divide it into theoretical and empirical part, trade volume or economic growth and trade structure or economic growth is reviewed. In term of domestic research presentation, we first describe the sub-total situation in three parts, and then focus on the structure of exports and economic growth, in order to combine point and comprehensive. The second chapter elaborates the basic economic theory on the relevant relationship between International trade and economic growth, to lay a solid theoretical basis of the export commodity structure optimization to promote economic growth for the later in this paper. The third chapter mainly describes the current situation of economic growth and the export commodity structure in Anhui province. We analyze it mainly from three aspects. Firstly, it is the analysis of the overall status of economic growth in Anhui province. Secondly, we describe the current situation of export commodity structure in Anhui province, including the export of primary products and manufactured goods, the growth rate of fluctuations and changes of the main export commodities. Thirdly, we analyze trade competitiveness of the various components from the angle of export commodity structure. The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of export commodity structure impact on economic growth of Anhui province. We mainly use the unit root test, cointegration test, error correction model and granger causality test and other econometric analysis method. We prove that optimizing export structure is good for economic growth in Anhui province from the perspective of empirical. The fifth chapter briefly analyzes the problems existing in the export commodity structure in Anhui province, including low-level, less competitive, restrict of industrial structure and export market concentration, etc. And also briefly analyzes the causes of the problems. Then we put forward some feasible policy suggestions on how to optimize the structure of export commodities to promote economic growth in Anhui province. I expect this article can provide some help to Anhui who can optimize the export structure, develop foreign trade rationally, and promote economic growth.
