With the advent of the knowledge economy era, many of the world’s developed countries are vigorously advocating "building knowledge-based enterprises" to promote the country’s economic development. In China, the construction industry is one of the pillar industries in today’s national economy, for which China should pay attention to strengthening effective knowledge exchange, learning and management of construction companies, and effectively improving the level of construction companie’s competitiveness on the international construction market by promotion of efficient and effective transfer of valid knowledge. The tacit knowledge transfer in construction enterprise mainly refers to the process of sharing, communicating and transferring of knowledge in the construction business that can be explored and summed up by the practice of long-term employees in the experience of the project. Tacit knowledge has become an important resource for sustained development and dominating the market competitiveness of today’s construction companies, therefore, to strengthen the research on the efficient transfer of tacit knowledge in construction enterprises is necessary.First of all, this paper describes the basic theory, mainly to discuss the whole process of tacit knowledge transfer in building enterprise with SECI model, and demonstrates the necessity of tacit knowledge transfer.Secondly, it analyzes the factors affecting tacit knowledge transfer in construction enterprise, and determines the hierarchy relations of various factors through the establishment of ISM explain structural model and identifies the key factors.Then, the paper uses system dynamics to analyze the dynamic process of tacit knowledge transfer mechanisms in building enterprise and draws its causal diagram and flow diagrams, and then builds a simulation model with Vensim-PLE software to realize the dynamic simulation and result analysis.Finally, the paper combines the results of the above two parts of analysis to put forward improvement measure to speed up the transfer of tacit knowledge.This study desires help construction business to improve the transfer effect of tacit knowledge and to enhance market competitiveness for future growth as a supporting role.
