Peer-to-Peer Lending, is the financial intermediary service realizing the financing,also is a third-party platform for meeting people’s borrowing needs. It has many advantages, for example, peer-to-peer, convenience, fast financing, which ease the plight of China’s SME financing, and promote a more equitable distribution of social capital. It is a useful supplement to our traditional financial system. Although the development of P2 P lending market demand is an inevitable trend, blank P2 P law and lack of supervision make P2P’s future perilous. Therefore, for investors, P2 P platforms,and even the entire financial system, establish a reasonable P2 P risk control mechanisms for effective risk assessment and control becomes crucial.Based on the financial risk management theory and AHP, this paper evaluated the main risks of P2 P platforms qualitatively and quantitatively, and conducted an empirical analysis on ten P2 P platforms’ data in 2014. Ten P2 P platforms exits six main risks,based on which this paper established the index evaluation system, then evaluated P2 P platforms’ risk prevention and control. Lastly, from two aspects: macro supervision and internal control, this paper gives some advice on the P2 P risk control. |
