China is in the period of social transformation of multicultural collision, whose rapid environment change leads to the inadaptability of enterprise employees. Because the increasing work pressure, the tense relationship between superior and subordinate and the imbalance in work and life lead to psychological stress reaction, slacking, anxiety, depression, indifference to the people around you, even hostility and violent impulses appear in the daily work performance. Especially for the employees engaged in the field of safety production, the negative state of physical and mental health of employees causes the continuous occurrence of malignant events, giving a horrible threat to the personal life safety and the property safety of enterprises.Employee Assistance Program(EAP)is a long-term system for employees welfare projects, which comprehensively utilizes the theoretical knowledge and technical methods of psychology, management science, organizational behavior science and other disciplines and integrates such resources as personals, family, organization and society t to help enterprises and employees to solve a series of problems related to workplace which probably leads to the decrease of production efficiency of enterprises and employees.In this paper, the DW company of the power grid industry was taken as the research object. Firstly the external environment, the present situation and the possibility of implementing EAP project in DW company were analyzed, concluding that implementation of EAP project in DW company was feasible. Then by the methods of literature retrieval, questionnaire investigation, depth interview, the field investigation was carried on the employees of DW company in three different areas, using the SPSS21.0 statistical software for the descriptive analysis and variance analysis to make a conclusion about the status of staff pressure and physical and mental health.Directed at the characteristics of the status quo of the company and employees, based on the detailed research, by using the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theoretical analysis, empirical analysis, the whole idea of EAP system for DW company was put forward according to the stress management theory. Combined with the dual consideration of enterprise organization level and staff level, the whole process of EAP system for DW company was designed, which contains three levels of longitudinal process, level 1 for pre-intervention, level 2 for short-term focus and level 3 for key problems processing. Each level has four horizontal modules, personal management, stress management, career, and interpersonal communication.The EAP system constructed for DW company in this paper aims at improving the physical and mental health of employees, and enhancing their happiness, which provides guarantee for the improvement of safety production ability of enterprises.
