In recent years, especially since "the eighteenth national congress of the communist party of China", new urbanization construction as well as how to realize new urbanization has become one of hot research problems, and the tourism urbanization as a new important way for the construction of urbanization is closely concerned for. Tourism urbanization is one of the indispensable ways for a new type of urbanization development, which mainly relies on consumption gather, industry joint, ecological promotion and supporting optimization and so on, furthest acquiring China’s huge consumption "demographic dividend". Therefore, to study the dynamic mechanism of tourism urbanization path evolution has a very important practical significance.Based on the tourist destination life cycle theory and the dissipative structure theory, this paper analyzes the evolution stage of tourist destination urbanization of Qiandao Lake. This paper, according to the characters of natural geography lakes, fragile ecological environment and tourism resource endowment, combined with the existing research literature, constructs present situation assessment system of Qiandao Lake tourist destination urbanization development. By using entropy method, it makes a comprehensive evaluation of 25 dynamic factors of Qiandao Lake tourist destination urbanization development from four subsystems of the population, economy, resource environment and society. Based on the historical data from 2005 to 2013, it adopts the research method of system dynamics and builds the system model of Qiandao Lake tourist urbanization. The result is shown through simulation and sensitivity analysis as follows:(1) In Qiandao Lake tourist urbanization system, the four major subsystems interact with each other. Economic subsystem level is the highest and its promotion effect is the strongest. While population subsystem level is the lowest, showing that population structure needs to be improved; (2) Under the premise of the rapid development of tourism industry, it predicts that by 2020, the development level of the four subsystems will have a rising trend; (3) In the aspect of dynamic factor, the tertiary industry employee population, GDP per one and the ownership number of civil motor vehicles per thousand people play the most significant role in promoting the urbanization. Finally, this paper, based on the above conclusion, puts forward policy suggestions for Qiandao Lake tourist destination urbanization:(1) to optimize the construction of population subsystem and solve the problem of population urbanization.(2) to strengthen economic subsystem and guarantee the sustained economic growth of industry;(3) to coordinate resource environment subsystem and promote the sustainable growth of cities and towns;(4) to guarantee society subsystem and promote social service ability.
